Why use the AR Trails mobile app during hiking?
Our mobile app aims to provide the visitor with the necessary information in audio, video, photo and other formats using Augmented Reality (AR). How does the “Leave Your Virtual Trace” function work?
The “Leave Your Virtual Trace’’ function allows any user to leave its virtual trace via the “AR Trails” mobile app. You may take and post a photo and / or video, leave a voice message and other type of media content that may be subsequently viewed, rated, commented on, and evaluated by your friends and followers and other visitors on place. This component will also allow the visitor to store virtual geocaches that others may find or be the part of citizen science.
